Shipping policy
PAGELITE SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY
Last updated: 23 September 2026
Thank you for shopping with PageLite.
This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how we process, dispatch and deliver orders placed through the PageLite online store.
This policy must be read together with our Terms of Service and Returns & Refund Policy.
Nothing in this policy is intended to limit any rights available to consumers under applicable South African law, including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 ("CPA") and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 ("ECTA").
1. Delivery Areas
PageLite delivers to eligible addresses made available during checkout.
Our primary delivery market is South Africa.
Delivery availability may differ depending on the customer's location, the product ordered and the courier services available in that area.
If we are unable to deliver to the address supplied with your order, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.
2. Order Processing
Orders are processed after successful payment confirmation and, where applicable, order verification.
Processing time and delivery time are not necessarily the same.
An order may require time for:
-
payment confirmation;
-
fraud or security checks;
-
picking and packing;
-
supplier processing;
-
customisation or manufacturing, where applicable; and
-
transfer to the applicable courier or delivery provider.
Orders placed on weekends or South African public holidays may begin processing on the next applicable business day.
3. Estimated Delivery Times
The expected delivery period applicable to an order will be communicated through the product page, checkout process, order confirmation or other information provided before or shortly after purchase.
Delivery periods are estimates unless PageLite expressly agrees to a specific delivery date.
Delivery times may differ depending on the product, delivery destination, supplier location, courier network and whether the product requires customisation.
We will take reasonable steps to fulfil orders within the delivery period communicated to you.
Where no different delivery period has been agreed, PageLite will fulfil orders within the period required under applicable South African law.
4. Custom and Personalised Orders
Certain PageLite products are customised or manufactured specifically according to the customer's design, image, wording or other specifications.
Customised products may require additional production time before dispatch.
For PageLite products specifically advertised with an 8–15 day delivery period, customers should allow approximately 8 to 15 days for the order to be produced, processed and delivered, subject to the delivery information displayed on the applicable product page.
This includes customised products such as personalised embossers where applicable.
Because customised products require production before shipment, tracking information may not become available immediately after the order is placed.
If there is a material delay affecting a customised order, we will take reasonable steps to notify the customer.
5. Delivery Estimates
Estimated delivery dates are provided in good faith based on the information available to PageLite at the time.
Factors outside our direct control may occasionally affect an estimated delivery period, including:
-
courier delays;
-
severe weather;
-
road closures or transport disruptions;
-
unusually high order volumes;
-
public holidays;
-
remote-area delivery schedules;
-
supplier or manufacturing delays;
-
customs or import processing where applicable;
-
strikes or industrial action; and
-
other circumstances reasonably outside PageLite's control.
Where a delay occurs, PageLite will continue to take reasonable steps to have the order delivered.
Nothing in this section removes any right a customer may have under applicable South African law where an order is not supplied within the agreed or legally required period.
6. Shipping Fees
Any shipping or delivery fee applicable to an order will be disclosed before the customer completes checkout.
Shipping charges may vary according to factors including:
-
delivery location;
-
order value;
-
package dimensions or weight;
-
product type; and
-
available delivery method.
Where PageLite offers free shipping, the conditions of the applicable free-shipping offer will be displayed on the website.
Customers will not be charged an undisclosed delivery fee after completing an order.
7. Tracking Information
Where tracking is available, PageLite will provide the customer with tracking information after the parcel has been dispatched or once tracking information has been made available to us.
Tracking information may be sent by email, SMS, through an order-status page or through another contact method supplied during checkout.
Please note that tracking systems can sometimes take time to update after a parcel has been collected.
A lack of an immediate tracking update does not necessarily mean that the parcel has not been dispatched.
8. Multiple Shipments
Some orders containing multiple products may be fulfilled separately.
This may happen where products:
-
come from different fulfilment locations;
-
require different processing times;
-
include both standard and customised goods; or
-
are otherwise more efficiently shipped separately.
As a result, you may receive more than one parcel for a single order.
Unless otherwise disclosed, you will not be charged additional shipping fees merely because PageLite chooses to split an order into multiple shipments.
9. Correct Delivery Information
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete delivery information when placing an order.
This includes:
-
recipient name;
-
street address;
-
suburb;
-
city or town;
-
province;
-
postal code; and
-
valid telephone number or other contact details requested during checkout.
Please check your delivery details carefully before completing your order.
If you notice an error, contact:
as soon as possible.
We will try to correct the address where reasonably possible.
However, once an order has been processed, transferred to a supplier, personalised, packed or handed to a courier, we may be unable to change the delivery address.
10. Incorrect Addresses Supplied by the Customer
Where delivery cannot be completed because the customer supplied a materially incorrect or incomplete address, PageLite will attempt to assist in arranging redelivery where reasonably possible.
Additional courier or redelivery charges resulting directly from incorrect information supplied by the customer may be payable by the customer where permitted by law.
We will inform the customer of any applicable additional charge before arranging redelivery.
This does not apply where the delivery failure was caused by PageLite or its delivery provider rather than information provided by the customer.
11. Courier Contact
Our couriers may contact you using the telephone number or other contact information supplied during checkout.
Customers should ensure that someone is reasonably available to accept delivery at the supplied address.
Depending on the courier, delivery may require a signature, PIN, one-time password or another form of delivery confirmation.
12. Failed Delivery Attempts
If a courier is unable to complete delivery, another delivery attempt may be made or the parcel may be held for collection, depending on the courier's procedures.
Where a parcel is returned to PageLite because:
-
repeated delivery attempts were unsuccessful;
-
the customer could not be contacted;
-
an incorrect address was supplied; or
-
the customer failed to collect the parcel after being reasonably notified,
we will contact the customer where reasonably possible.
Any redelivery charge will be handled fairly and in accordance with applicable law.
13. When an Order Is Considered Delivered
Delivery will generally be regarded as having occurred when the order is delivered to the delivery address provided by the customer and accepted in accordance with applicable law.
Goods remain at PageLite's risk until delivery has been accepted by the customer to the extent required by the Consumer Protection Act.
Nothing in this policy transfers risks to the customer earlier than permitted by applicable South African law.
14. Orders Marked Delivered but Not Received
If your tracking information states that an order has been delivered but you cannot locate it, please:
-
Check the immediate delivery area.
-
Check with household members, reception, security or another authorised person who may have accepted the parcel.
-
Confirm that the delivery address on your order is correct.
-
Contact us at shoppagelite@gmail.com if the parcel still cannot be located.
Please include your order number.
We will investigate the delivery with the applicable courier or fulfilment provider.
A courier tracking status alone will not automatically be treated as conclusive where there is a legitimate dispute regarding delivery.
15. Lost Parcels
If an order is confirmed as lost before delivery to the customer, PageLite will provide the remedy required under applicable South African law.
Depending on the circumstances, this may include:
-
sending a replacement; or
-
providing an appropriate refund.
Customers will not be required to bear the loss of a parcel where the risk legally remained with PageLite.
16. Damaged Parcels
Please inspect your order as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.
If a parcel or product arrives materially damaged, please contact:
Please provide:
-
your order number;
-
a description of the damage; and
-
photographs or video of the damaged item and packaging where reasonably possible.
This helps us investigate the issue with the courier or supplier.
Damaged products remain subject to the customer's rights under our Returns & Refund Policy and applicable South African consumer law.
17. Incorrect Products
If you receive an item materially different from the item you ordered, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible at:
Include your order number and photographs of the product received where reasonably possible.
Where PageLite supplied the incorrect product, we will arrange the appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable consumer law.
18. Out-of-Stock or Unavailable Products
Occasionally, an item may become unavailable after an order has been placed.
Where PageLite is unable to perform an order because the ordered goods are unavailable, we will notify the customer as soon as reasonably possible and provide the refund required by applicable law.
We will not knowingly substitute a materially different product without the customer's agreement.
19. Delivery Delays
If an order has not arrived within the delivery period communicated to you, please contact:
Include your order number so that we can investigate the shipment.
Where PageLite fails to fulfil an electronic order within the period agreed with the customer, the customer retains any cancellation or other rights available under ECTA or other applicable legislation.
20. 30-Day ECTA Performance Requirement
Unless PageLite and the customer have agreed to another delivery or fulfilment period, PageLite will execute an online order within 30 days after receiving the order, as required by ECTA where applicable.
Where PageLite fails to execute an order within 30 days or within another agreed period, the customer may exercise the rights provided by applicable law, including the right under ECTA to cancel after giving the required notice.
Where PageLite cannot fulfil an order because the product is unavailable, we will notify the customer and process the applicable refund within the period required by law.
21. Custom Orders and Agreed Delivery Periods
Where a product page clearly states that a customised, personalised, made-to-order or special-order product has a different fulfilment or delivery period, placing an order for that product constitutes acceptance of that disclosed delivery period, subject to applicable law.
For example, where a personalised product states 8–15 days, that period applies to the order instead of a shorter standard delivery estimate.
We will not use this provision to impose an undisclosed extended delivery period after the customer has already purchased the product.
22. Order Cancellations After Dispatch
Once an order has been dispatched, we may be unable to stop the delivery.
If you wish to cancel an order after dispatch, any applicable return or cancellation rights will be handled under our Returns & Refund Policy and South African consumer law.
This does not affect statutory cooling-off rights where those rights apply.
23. International Deliveries
If PageLite makes international delivery available at checkout, additional delivery times, customs processes, duties, taxes or import charges may apply.
Any charges collected directly by PageLite will be disclosed before checkout where required.
Charges imposed independently by customs authorities or governments in the destination country may fall outside PageLite's control.
Where international delivery is not offered for a particular destination, the website may prevent completion of checkout for that address.
24. Public Holidays and Peak Periods
Orders placed during periods such as:
-
Black Friday;
-
Cyber Monday;
-
Christmas and festive-season periods;
-
promotional launches; or
-
major sales events
may experience higher processing or courier volumes.
Estimated delivery dates may be extended during these periods where reasonably necessary.
Any material alternative delivery period should be disclosed to customers where required before they purchase.
25. Contact Us
For delivery questions, tracking enquiries or shipping concerns, please contact:

When contacting us about an existing order, please include your order number so that we can assist you more efficiently.
26. Statutory Rights
Nothing in this Shipping & Delivery Policy is intended to exclude, restrict or reduce any mandatory right available to a consumer under South African law.
If any provision of this policy conflicts with a mandatory requirement of the Consumer Protection Act, Electronic Communications and Transactions Act or other applicable South African legislation, the applicable law will take precedence.
