Choose a suitable blank page and slide its outer edge between the embossing plates. Work with one sheet at a time.
02 · PRESS
Hold the page steady and squeeze the handle firmly and evenly.
03 · REVEAL
Release the handle and gently remove the page to reveal the raised impression.
Before you make your mark
Does it use ink or electricity?
No. PagePress™ is a manual embosser. Its plates press the design into the paper without ink, batteries or a power cable.
Can I change the design with each press?
The impression comes from the fitted embossing plate. The plate is customised with your submitted design. It repeats that plate's design; the handle does not let you type or change lettering. Designs pictured are illustrative examples.
Will it work on every book?
Results depend on paper thickness, texture and access to the page edge. Test on spare paper of a similar weight first. Use a single suitable sheet, and avoid thick covers, fragile pages or forcing multiple sheets between the plates.
Is the mark permanent?
Embossing changes the surface of the paper and leaves an impression on both sides. Choose the position carefully and use it only on books or paper you are happy to mark.
